On 27 June 2017, the Latvian Financial and Capital Market Commission announced an enforcement action whereby it penalized three banks for North Korea sanctions.
On 20th April 2017, the UN Security Council condemned the latest North Korean ballistic-missile launch on 15 April 2017. In it’s statement, the Council threatened North Korea with a new round of sanctions.
