EU amends end-use and end-use location information requirements regarding it’s sanctions regime against Iran.
EU Iran sanctions
On 11 April 2017, the EU Council decided to renew its human rights sanctions regime against Iran until 13 April 2018. These measures consist of: a travel ban and an asset freeze against 82 people and one entity and a ban on exports to Iran of equipment which might be used for internal repression and of equipment for monitoring telecommunications.
On 16 January 2017, the EU published its confirmation of the deletion of certain entities from its Iran nuclear related sanctions blacklist.
